Phantom Blade Zero Items & Resources: Accessories, Remnant Dust, Key Materials

Phantom Blade Zero's item systems: accessory slots and types, what Remnant Dust buys, and the four collectible materials that permanently raise your power.

How do accessories work?

Accessories are passive items socketed into limited slots:

  • 2 slots by default, expandable up to 6 via abilities (Boundless Capacity is the early pickup)
  • Three types — attack, defense, support — with a maximum of 3 per type socketed at once

The Cornucopia pre-order accessory, for reference, sits in the support family and boosts Remnant Dust drops by 10% — and like everything pre-order, it’s earnable in-game (see the editions guide).

What is Remnant Dust for?

Remnant Dust (意识尘埃) is the economy’s single currency: it buys ability training, funds weapon and Phantom Edge upgrades, and pays shop prices. It is not experience — there’s no leveling curve to grind, and since enemies stay dead when you rest, dust arrives through exploration rather than repetition. Spend it; the world keeps offering more.

Which materials should I hunt?

Material What it does
Black Stone (4 fragments) Permanent +10% attack & guard break; unlocks ability-row nodes
Sha-Chi Amber (4 fragments) Permanent +10% maximum Sha-Chi
Memory Blossom (petal sets) Permanent max-health boosts at roughly 5% / 7% / 10% tiers
Banyan Heart Late-game advanced material; about 8 exist per playthrough and Quick Hand Zhang sells them for 100,000 dust each

Fragments are the quiet engine of a build: four Black Stone fragments is a permanent damage tier no accessory can match, and more max Sha-Chi means longer combo strings before you need the weapon-swap refill.
